Tripod is a mechanical alien sent by martians to fight all humanity. It's primary source of attack is a red hot heat beam which causes significant physical damage. It also uses a poison smoke to poison targeted humans. The machine is beleived to be near 100 feet tall and able to move as fast as a flying bird. The massive machines were delivered to Earth in massive cylinders which were shot from mars.
